Turning 65: Understanding Medicare & Supplemental Plans

Part one of this presentation will cover eligibility, enrollment and the benefits of Medicare Parts A and B and the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois Medicare Supplemental Plans. Attendees will benefit from this program if they will soon be eligible for Medicare, already on Medicare but losing their group retiree benefits, a caregiver of a Medicare beneficiary or anyone who would like to learn more about the hospital and medical insurance benefits of Medicare and Medicare Supplemental Plans.

Part two of this presentation will cover eligibility, enrollment and the three coverage phases of Medicare Part D, the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan. We will also discuss the Blue MedicareRx product portfolio. Attendees will benefit from this program if they will soon be eligible for Medicare, already on Medicare but losing their group retiree benefits, a caregiver of Medicare beneficiary and anyone who would like to learn more about the Medicare Prescription Drug Program.

Diane has been helping people with their insurance buying decisions for many year but now, because of the thousands of baby boomers turning 65 and becoming eligible for Medicare every day, she spends the majority of her time educating people about Medicare and helping them decide on the right Medicare supplement plan for their situation.
